Half chrome LED light bulbs — also known as silver bowl or half-mirrored bulbs — carry a distinctive mirrored dome: a silvered or gold-plated cap that reflects light back and casts a soft, glare-free glow downward. Luxray builds this classic silver bowl finish onto LED filament technology, pairing the vintage character of a traditional Edison lamp with the efficiency and long life of modern LED. As one of the earliest LED-filament developers in China, our team draws on 30-plus years across halogen, incandescent, energy-saving and SMD lighting.
What sets our half chrome bulbs apart is measurable, not just cosmetic. Because the filament and gas-fill are engineered in-house, they hold their brightness far longer than typical filament bulbs — the low lumen depreciation, extended service life and build-to-spec flexibility that specifiers and OEM buyers actually test for. Designers, hospitality projects and lighting brands across Europe and North America choose the half-mirrored finish wherever a bare filament would glare.
The half chrome finish is applied across shapes — globe (G95, G125), golf-ball (G45) and A60 — with silver (chrome) or gold-mirrored caps, on clear or amber glass, and straight or spiral filaments. The mirrored dome hides the filament from direct view and softens the output, making these half mirror light bulbs a favourite for exposed pendants, bar lighting and feature fittings where comfort and a clean look both matter. Bases come in E14 and E27 to suit both European and North-American fittings.
Quality is proven, not claimed: each bulb is validated in our own TÜV-approved lab and carries CE, ErP and RoHS for Europe plus ETL for North America. Alongside stocked standard finishes, we build to order — custom half silver and mirror colours, bespoke colour temperatures, high-CRI variants, and private-label or full OEM runs.

Manufactured, Not Just Supplied
30+ years’ expertise
Our team brings over 30 years of industry experience, focused on premium custom light sources since 2014.
Full certification
CE, RoHS, ETL, and ERP test reports issued by internationally recognized laboratories — SGS, TÜV, and Intertek.
In-house sampling
We develop and produce samples in-house, with one-to-three approval rounds for custom work.
Batch consistency
Color temperature and brightness held consistent across production runs.
How We Build It
A decorative bulb is only as good as the details behind it. We control both how it performs and how it looks — from the engineering inside to the finish you see.

01 — GLASS
Glass, Selected and Cleaned by Hand
On a clear filament bulb, the glass has nowhere to hide — every streak, bubble, or speck shows once the light is on. That’s why every envelope is inspected piece by piece on arrival, then hand-cleaned before assembly. Envelopes that don’t meet our clarity standard are rejected, not reworked.
Incoming inspection on every envelope, not sample checks
Hand-cleaned before assembly for a flawless finish
Sub-standard glass rejected before it enters production
Inspection covers clarity, wall thickness, and neck dimensions.

02 — FILAMENT
Filaments Designed to Be Seen
Filaments Designed to Be Seen
On a decorative bulb, the filament is the design. We shape and position each filament for visual balance and a refined glow — and we fix the geometry per model, so filament angle and spacing stay identical from bulb to bulb. When a project installs fifty bulbs in one chandelier, they all look like one family.
Filament layout fixed per model — no visible variation across a batch
Soft, even glow without hot spots or glare
Custom filament shapes available for OEM projects

03 — GAS-FILL
Patented Gas-Fill Technology
Most decorative bulbs dim noticeably within the first year or two. Ours are built not to — the gas mixture sealed inside each bulb is engineered to slow lumen depreciation and protect the LED filament across its full working life.
Lumen maintenance above [90]% at [6,000] hours
Consistent brightness and color, batch after batch
Every production run verified by in-house aging tests

04 — COMPONENTS
Matched Components, Not Standard Parts
A dim-to-warm bulb and a high-CRI clear bulb shouldn’t run on the same driver — so they don’t. Filament and driver are specified per model, and the production process is tuned to each design, so every variant performs exactly as its spec sheet promises.
Driver matched to each model — flicker-free, smooth dimming where specified
Full traceability: every batch linked to its component lot
Spec sheets reflect tested values, not catalog claims
